The Rila monastery offers accommodation for pilgrims and tourists.
There are shared dormitories and private rooms with en-suite bathroom/WC. 

Rates for sleeping at the monastery are as follows (up-date April 2023):

1. Private room with en-suite bathroom/WC 

Summer period (mid April to mid November)

30 BGN per person in a private room

Winter period (mid November to mid April
1 person in a private room: 30 BGN per room
2 persons in a private room: 50 BGN per room
3 persons in a private room: 60 BGN per room

2. Private rooms with shared WC on the floor: 20 BGN per person 

(Shared dormitories are not available from mid-November till mid-April)

There are 2 ways to reserve accommodation at the monastery: 

- Call the Rila monastery monk brotherhood directly at  +359 896 872 010 (call between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm)

- Use our booking service (we will call the monastery and book a room for you). There is a small administration fee (5.70 EUR per booking). 

Up-date March 2024: at the moment we do not process reservations for the monstery so you will need to contact the number above and try to contact to monastery directly
